You can’t imagine how lucky I am that I’ve seen the Foo Fighters two times already. First one was at the Openair St. Gallen back in 2005 and the second one at the Openair Gampel in 2012. In June 2015 the concert which should took place in St.Gallen was unfortunately cancelled as Dave Grohl broke his leg during a show in Sweden. So my Buddy Werni and I made a deal that day they come back to Switzerland we have to see it.

On June 13, 2018 it was finally time again to see them live. Wolf Alice and the Kills opened the programm and then the last true rockstars entered the stage. Dave Grohl is simply a true legend. As you know he was the drummer of the legendary Grunge-Band Nirvana. It’s simply outstanding what he and his band did that night in the capital city of Switzerland. They rocked out their souls for 2 and a half hours, played a legendary set with classic like The Pretender, Everlong, Learn to Fly, Times like these, Wheels, All my life, Walk, my hero etc. It was pretty epic to see a crowd in Switzerland going nuts. Two of the highlights were also when they covered Queens‘ song „Under pressure“ I got goosebumps many times and it was one of the best concerts I’v ever seen. Top 3 for sure.

Thanks a lot to my Buddy Werni for his perfect organization (Tickets, travel, seats etc. ), Patricia who joined us for that concert and the Foo Fighters for making this evening a brilliant one.
