Some weeks ago I walked through the streets of Sion and I saw an ad about an Exhibition at the Fondation de l’Hermitage in Lausanne. I’ve never heard about this Fondation but when I saw the artists on the ad I knew that it’s something special. So on Saturday, July 15th. I traveled to Bern where I met my buddy Christoph. Then we continued our journey to Lausanne. There we walked uphill to the Fondation de l’Hermitage where the exhibition about the Bührle Collection take place. The exhibtion was amazing with paintings of artists like Van Gogh, Monet, Manet, Gaugain, Cézanne, Sisley, Renoir just to name a few. The Fondation de l’Hermitage is situated almost on top of Lausanne and there you can enjoy an amazing view on the Lake Geneva. After our visited we took the boat and traveled to Evian in France and later came back to Lausanne where it was time to say goodbye. Christoph went back to Bern and I took the train back to Valais. Thank you very much Christoph for this magnificent day.
