Some weeks ago my sister told me about an architecture photo-contest of the 20min. newspaper and she said to me that I should participate. So I did that and last week I got some really happy news. I got an email with the message that my shot of the big church of Zurich with a street light was voted of an expert jury into the TOP100 out of 900 photos sent from all over the world. The best part of it was that I got an invitation to the Vernissage of the architektur0.1616 where all the TOP100 shots where presented and also you could see there the best architecture works of the year 2016.
This day started for me and my favourite cousine Alexandra with a train ride from Visp to the capital of Switzerland, Bern. We had a really good time in the train discussing some amazing topics, enjoyed cool music and just had a good time. In Bern we made some shopping. If you are ever in Bern you should check out the following shops: The North Face (Outdoor Sports), KSG (Skate/Snow/Surf), Zigerli & IFF (luxury watches), doodah (Skate/Snow/Surf) and Olmo (clothing).
Later we took the Intercity-Train from Bern to Zurich where we continued our shopping trip at the world famous „Bahnhofstrasse“. Then it was time to attend the vernissage at the MAAG Event Hall. It was a huge honor for me to see my shot with so many other awesome photos. I would like to thank my sister Steph and my cousine Alexandra for making this day perfect.
I made some snapshots with my iPhone 6… have a look and enjoy it!
