Just came back from London yesterday. It was the first time for me going to this amazing city. At this year’s Baselworld I got a flyer at the Patek Philippe booth for an exhibition at Saatchi Gallery in London. After some planning in the last weeks I finally found a friend who join me for this trip. So last Saturday we were heading from Visp to Geneva with the train. The train ride is around 2.5 hours long but because of the landscapes we saw the long ride was totally worth it. After our arrival at Geneva airport we directly took our flight to London Heathrow. At the airport we took the Heathrow Express and the subway to get to our Hotel. On the first day we checked out the city for a first sight. The Big Ben with the House of Parliament, the London Eye and the Westminster Abbey were the highlights of the first day. On the second day this were our sight-seeing highlights: Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Shard Building, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square. On day 3: Piccadilly Circus, Saatchi Gallery, New Bond Street and the Buckingham Palace. On Tuesday it was already time to go back to Switzerland. We really enjoyed our journey. Unfortunately the weather was not great at all but we made the best of it. Thanks to my buddy Werner for this amazing trip I will never forget.
